Explore! 7April 2011 #73! . C.M. Hutchinson’s & Son is an old gas station on the way south from Shreveport on Youree (Hwy 1). In the past five years, the pumps have been removed that were last operational when gas was 70.8 cents per gallon. Two pumps sat out front, but a train track divided the needed business of the newly built Hwy 1 from the store and it closed. It still sits full of Hutchinson’s belongings, untouched for decades.
